What kind of cane is beter to use for the big fish?
wat is best spinning rod and a baitcaster? Also Online 50-pound test and if I take Gander MTN do u think it would on the reel for me?
In general, renewables reels reel (baitcasting or conventional) are best for larger fish (over the line and drag capabilities better). Spinning Reels are the best for casting lighter. Spinning Reels (even the largest salt water) are not to test more than 30 pounds. Thick line single 50 pounds would really be a problem to melt and slide the coil not built with the voltage level necessary to harness the power of the line. You can use 50 pounds in a twisted wheel, but still draws the coil will not enough to fish like the 50-pound test. 50-lbs braid would work well in any Baitcast, but again will require a large reel harness power. If the line is 50 pound mono, I am left with large saltwater conventional reel, the size of a Penn 500 or 113.
