Lube my Quantum Energy Baitcast 770PTs?
I just bought my first and I wonder how Baitcast lubricant when it comes time to do so. Thanks in advance!
More quantum reels come with their own brand Quantum of grease and oil sauce. If you do not spend money on both, so you have a small problem. Hot sauce does not like to mix with other lubricants, and I do not recommend trying. If you use something else, then you will need all degrease and clean the coil and bearings before putting the products of others. Anyway, back to your real question. After about 40-60 hours of fishing, the oil in the bearings is needed A few drops added. Main bearings that require lubrication of the bearings of the reel – one located in the side plate opposite the handle and the other is located on the axis of the coil. One or two small drops max at both levels. The one on the side plate should not be deleted because it is contained in the tank side plate, and natural oil seep back into the rotation.
