You mean so they both work as if they were a single computer?
The only solution I’ve seen to this on a D-I-Y scale is ‘beowulf’ which is a linux clustering setup for a bunch of PCs. It was developed by NASA to provide resilient computing.
Not sure how much benefit there is in clustering only 2 computers though.
